A thought about that day and subsequent years, in Opera North and in Viva. In this Chorus Line song, this baldness guy say: ”Henceforth, you’ll be a brainy believer.” G
Jonathan Before my stroke (2014) I used parody to comment/mock the situation in my musical life. So I've been using that to describe my new life with aphasia. The lyrics are "contrafactum" (the substitution of text for another without change to the music) and comment on how I cope with brain damage and aphasia. The irony is that despite having musical anhedonia I'm still a musician! Maybe speaking to you in your podcast that I've just found will help others to use their pre-life skills in a different take? - thank you for your enlightening and informative interview with Emma Rich and shining a light on asphsia. Much love to all involved.
A message for Jonathan Hiron. I have just watched your recording 'On the tip of my tongue' and would be happy to talk to you, if that is helpful. Regards, Jenny Fells
